WESTERN MICHIGAN APPALOOSA REGIONAL – June 2008 Newsletter

Well, we’ve managed to get through the first Michigan show of the season all in one piece.  We had beautiful weather on Saturday with cold, wind and rain on Sunday just to remind us that it’s still spring in Michigan!  I thought classes were good sized considering what we’ve been hearing about other shows around the country.

There were quite a few new faces there, too.  Hopefully we’ll see many of them up at our Alma shows.  With all the stalls filling up, it sounds like we’re going to have a good turnout. Don’t forget that these two Alma shows are double pointed for WMAR members going for WMAR year end points.  Nice incentive, huh?  You can also encourage your non-Appaloosa owning friends to come along since we have a nice selection of open classes for them.

As always, we can use your help at the shows for jobs like raking during games, running the in and out gates, setting up trail and maybe in the office.

Don’t forget that WMAR Stallion Service Sale Futurity 2 year old western pleasure and Yearling Longe Line first entry payments are due by June 15th.

 ‘til next month...
